5 ways to improve your mood

Light up your mood.

It is true that being in a good mood all the time is not an easy job, but in this article I'll share with you some tips in order to improve your mood when you don't feel like it.

Get outside

As it may seem simple, getting some fresh air can be a big game changer. Our bodies weren't designed to sit under florescent lights all day, everyday. Sometimes you need just to clear you head for a while.

Smile and laugh 

As much as you may feel like it, as silly as it may seem, sometimes kicking negativity is as easy as smiling. Smiling can trick your brain, sparking a chemical reaction that really can boost your mood instantaneously. It couldn't be more true that laugh is the best medicine for the soul. 

Put your phone away for a while 

Too much blue light can be bad for our brain and our mood. Opt for doing something outside like walk or even a good book would be amazing.

Take care of yourself 

Work out, cut your hair, paint your nails, get a massage, go to a spa, whatever involves giving yourself a time.

Hug someone

Psychologically speaking, holding tight to someone we love for 20 seconds is proven to makes us feel better, safer and more loved. Can you imagine all that in less than a minute. 

Watch a special movie 

This one I'd like to add it to the list. Given that it works for me but it's important to mention that it's not any movie but a special one, one that you do know it's gonna make you smile or happy from the beginning to the end.

 Do not worry I pretty much know that it's easier to say it rather than do it. The thing is that worry about something isn't that bad, on the other hand we make it bad. Here is the key, it's all about worrying without getting sick, as everything in life excess in any kind of way is never good. Worry it's okay, but let me tell you why. It's an stimulus, not as bad as you may think. It's what make us react, change and move on. Worry from the basic stuff like basic needs to life changes.   Changes   Life keeps going, just like the world keeps moving, maybe you're feeling like you're having one of the best days of your life and suddenly you're a down dum in the dumps, or the other way round, when you feel like everything is lost, something finally feels right or end up being just the way you wanted to.
